Introduction

With more than 7 years of experience in digital product design, I create user-centered solutions that meet both business needs and the real demands of people. My work combines strategic design, research, agile development, and product thinking — always focused on delivering value from the very first iterations.

I have strong experience in UX/UI, leading projects from initial conception through final delivery, including user research, prototyping, testing, and monitoring usage metrics. I work side-by-side with multidisciplinary teams to transform ideas into functional, scalable, purpose-driven digital products.

I am an enthusiast of open innovation and emerging technologies, with a particular interest in automation, generative artificial intelligence, and open-source solutions. As an active member of the Linux community, I believe in the power of collaboration and the collective development of digital tools that are accessible and evolutive.

In recent years, I have been dedicated not only to designing well-crafted interfaces but also to solving real problems through digital products that deliver value quickly and evolve based on data and continuous feedback. My approach is hands-on, agile, and experimentation-oriented, always seeking to validate hypotheses efficiently.

I am constantly looking for challenges that allow me to combine design, innovation, and technology to positively impact people’s lives while generating tangible results for companies and startups. I believe design is a powerful bridge between vision and execution — and it is on this bridge that I build my work.

Where I Come From

I am Brazilian, born and raised in Maranhão, the state with some of the greatest socioeconomic challenges in my country. My background directly influences how I think about and practice design, always paying attention to diverse realities and the cultural uniqueness of each person.

Brazil is a unique country. Shaped by intense mixing of European, African, and Indigenous peoples, it carries a social and cultural diversity unlike anywhere else in the world. Growing up in this context exposed me to different ways of living, perspectives, and worldviews, which shaped in me a sensitive, plural, and attentive approach to human complexity.

This environment sparked my interest in understanding people at their core — their habits, contexts, and values — and led me to develop a critical mindset that sees cultural background as an essential part of the design process.

This perspective is reflected directly in my practice: before proposing any solution, I seek to deeply understand the users’ reality and cultural background, so I can create experiences that resonate with their needs and daily lives.

I believe that every individual — or group — interacts with technology in different ways. Being in tune with these differences allows me to design more human, accurate, and inclusive journeys, interfaces, and visual experiences that serve a broader range of people in an effective and meaningful way.

How I Got Here

I graduated in Advertising, and in 2002 I had the opportunity to study at ESPM (Superior School of Advertising and Marketing) in Rio de Janeiro, at the time the main reference in social communication in Brazil. This experience had a major impact on how I began to understand society, its habits, and its relationship with consumption.

I started my career as a graphic designer, creating advertising pieces, visual identities, and materials for companies, products, and industries. Meanwhile, my interest in technology led me to work on web development projects, where I began studying and applying knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

This continuous involvement with technology was essential for my career transition, which materialized in 2019 when I began working as a UI Designer at one of the largest software houses in São Paulo. It was a period of intense learning, where I had direct contact with large-scale projects and professionals who expanded my perspective and elevated my skills beyond what I thought possible.

Throughout this journey, I deepened my knowledge in methodologies such as design thinking, agile development, and user-centered design, working with multidisciplinary teams on innovation projects with national impact. This challenging environment was essential for my growth and culminated in my role as Lead Designer on strategic projects for companies such as Carrefour, Vivo, and Grupo DPSP.

Since then, I have contributed to several impactful projects, always aiming to align business needs with user expectations in an efficient, strategic, and value-driven way for all stakeholders.
